This tender, juicy pork, coated in a rich creamy garlic sauce made in less than 30 minutes - a quick and easy dish that's perfect for any weeknight. You can serve it with rice, potatoes, pasta or vegetables for a complete meal.
Ingredients:
Boneless pork loin – 2 lb. (800 g)
Thyme - 1-2 sprigs
Smoked paprika - 1 tsp.
Coriander - 1 tsp.
Garlic - 3-4 cloves
Flour - 2-3 tbsp.
Salt and black pepper to taste
Any neutral oil - 3-4 tbsp.
Cream 15-20% - 200 ml.
Cooking instructions:
Step 1
To prevent splatter, line a cutting board with plastic wrap, place your pork loins in a single layer on cutting board, cover with plastic wrap and pound them with a meat mallet (you can use the back of a heavy saucepan as well).
Step 2
Season pork chops with salt and pepper then dredge both sides of each of them in flour seasoned with salt, pepper and smoked paprika.
Step 3
Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan. Let the pan heat up for a few minutes, and once it's hot, arrange there the pork chops in a single layer. Sear them for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden-brown, then remove chops from pan and transfer them to a baking dish. Add thyme and garlic, crushed with the flat side of a knife.
Step 4
Pour cream into the same pan, add smoked paprika, coriander, freshly minced garlic, salt, pepper and bring the cream to a simmer (it will take few seconds). Pour the cream mixture over the pork chops.
Step 5
Bake in the preheated oven (302°F/150°C) for 10-15 minutes until the sauce has thickened up a bit (let the sauce bubble a bit but not furiously boil). Flip them over once in 5-7 minutes.
That's all!
Serve with any side dish of your choice. Sprinkle the pork chops with finely chopped herbs if desired.
Enjoy!
