Roasted cauliflower


Delicious roasted cauliflower with a scrumptious caramelized crust! Very tender and creamy inside, with a slightly sweet and nutty flavor. Seasoned with a wonderful blend of herbs, this dish is easy enough for weeknight dinners.

Roasting is a simple way to prepare cauliflower. The cauliflower becomes wonderfully creamy. It can be a delicious main or wonderful side dish that goes with so many meals.




Ingredients:

1 large head cauliflower separated into floret wedges

2 - 4 tbsp. olive or any other oil

2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice

Smoked paprika, thyme, garlic powder, dry onion and basil – 1 tsp. of each

Salt and black pepper – to taste



Cooking instructions:

Preheat oven to 425°F degrees (220 °C).


Step 1

Trim the clean cauliflower then separate it into florets



Step 2

Place the cauliflower florets in a rimmed baking dish. Toss it with spices and mix well. Add the olive oil as well as the lemon juice and mix well again.


Step 3

Roast until softened and lightly browned, about 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even roasting. Test with a fork for desired doneness. Serve warm or at room temperature.
